Orefinders Resources Inc. (TSX.V: ORX) has commenced summer field exploration at its wholly- owned Mirado gold project in Kirkland Lake, Ontario. During the past six months, Orefinders has expanded its land position at Mirado by staking an additional 1,120 hectares along strike from the Mirado gold deposit where a NI 43-101 compliant inferred resource of 442,000 ounces at an average grade of 1.29 g/t Au was identified during the first year of drilling on the property.
More than a dozen gold occurrences are located along a strike length of 9 km from the Mirado gold deposit and will be evaluated during the current field program. Two styles of mineralization are recognized on the recently acquired ground:
Environmental base line studies are ongoing and road infrastructure development will commence during the third week of June. It is anticipated that all road construction will be completed within 4-6 weeks, allowing for excellent year round access for heavy equipment.
